Gettin' in with the Guru

My mom and I went to the Grocery Guru presentation tonight. Wow! I totally realize how awful of a shopper I am. He categorized my type of shopping as shootin' from the hip. I thought that was some sort of dance move from the late seventies- apparently I am wrong.

I am the impulse queen, and probably the number one reason why target is still a-float! So my mom and I decided to get all prepped so we can become serious bargain shoppers. So fun! I loved the night and just being able to spend it with family. I was even lucky enough to win some Organic Skim Milk........ mmm? Interesting!

The best part of the night was the lady behind us. It started out with a little giggle, then a belly laugh, then she didn't stop... the entire time! She thought EVERYTHING Mr. Guru said was so funny! I totally couldn't handle it and my Mom and I kept busting up just over this lady. Things like that are so fun.

So now I can be your savvy shopping partner! Bring me along and we can save up to 70% on our next shopping trip!

so this has nothing to do with your post... even though I think it's great......

You have my blog listed on the side as "amy and philip dimick" I have no idea who philip is..... since when do you just get to pick what my husbands name is? I'm seriously laughing so hard because I have no idea how you came up with Philip... his name is Brad. You crack me up.

I love to cute coupons--but my mom had 9 kids, so she had to be savvy! I still get the Sunday paper only so I can cut coupons. Then I come home and say, "Ben, I saved $20 in coupons!" And he thinks I must have gotten a really good deal, even if I really did spend $100. You know what I mean? I love you. And your mom!

I am so jealous about the yummy organic milk!!! Wow, you would be totally jealous of us here in ATL. Next to our apartment complex is a Whole Foods Market store. However, we are so lucky because our apartment complex has a PRIVATE ENTRANCE to it. So when you come visit we will go down and stock up on some organic milk for you.
Great post, Caleb and I laughed at every sentence. I particularly loved the part about you keeping Target afloat.
Love Shannita
